BlueAnt is introducing a wireless device that works as a Bluetooth headset for mobile phones, and also as an intercom device. When a pair of those are attached to helmets motorcyclists can talk to each other, up to 150m (490 feet) away.
The BlueAnt Interphone provides instant communication between devices, in speeds up to 130 km/h.
The rechargeable battery provides 10 hours talk time, with 700 hours stand by.
Bikers can control the device through a large multi-function button, and accept or reject calls with voice commands. BlueAnt says the Interphone is also all weather water resistant and the DSP provides automatic volume adjustment, depending on the environment conditions.
