All Blacks go mobile with Telecom New Zealand

Posted on 26-May-2007 09:27 | Filed under: News

Telecom New Zealand customers can now access a range of exclusive All Blacks services and content on their mobile phone.

The services include exclusive All Blacks Mobile TV content as well as live scoring updates, breaking news alerts, caller tunes and fixture and results details. All can be accessed by any Telecom customer with a WAP capable mobile.

Telecom's GM Consumer Marketing, Kevin Bowler expects the variety and on-the-go nature of the services coupled with a big international rugby season will ensure the services are of particular interest this year.

Released in time for the Iveco Series Test matches against France and Canada the first wave of content includes All Blacks Mobile TV, All Blacks Caller Tunes, live scoring and breaking news alerts, wallpapers and TruTones. More content and unique behind the scenes footage will be released progressively throughout the year.

Users will have access to All Blacks Mobile TV, a channel with some of the best behind the scenes action from the 2006 and 2007 rugby seasons playing on the small screen.

Also available will be breaking news, half and full-time scores via SMS alerts, draw and results information showing who are the All Blacks taking on next and when it happens.
