Bulletin Wireless releases two-way SMS gadget for Windows Vista Sidebar, Yahoo!, Google and Apple Dashboard
Bulletin Wireless is launching its two-way SMS Widgets for Yahoo, Google, Microsoft Windows Vista Sidebar and Apple Dashboard.

The Bulletin Widgets add to the Bulletin Messenger service and provide global two-way coverage. The widgets make sending and receiving SMS messages simple and easy from the desktop of any computer.

Bulletin Wireless’ President, Bruce Herbert, says the widgets are another way for customers to easily interact with Bulletin’s global two-way SMS services. “We recognise that our customers are always looking for easier ways to integrate wireless messaging into their daily computing environment. Our deployment of widgets enables the user to put wireless messaging on their desktop – or even WiFi enabled devices like Apple’s iPod Touch”.

Bulletin Widgets are built on top of Bulletin Wireless’ flagship product, Bulletin Messenger, to enable two-way delivery of messages to individuals or groups.

The Bulletin Messenger platform has been used commercially by carriers and enterprises globally since 1998. Bulletin Wireless’ Widgets are an example of the organization’s innovation and ongoing investment in mobile data services.

The Widgets utilise Bulletin Wireless’ mTAG technology which enables the user to manage multiple SMS conversation threads. This guarantees replies are routed correctly to the originating message thread.

Bulletin Wireless have plans to launch widgets for the Google desktop platform before the end of the month.

As an initial offer, users who join the service are receiving $10 worth of credit for sending SMS from their desktops.
