AT&T has unveiled its latest smartphone device in association with Samsung. The BlackJack II is sleeker than the original Samsung BlackJack and comes updated with new features and software.
Now running Windows Mobile 6, the BlackJack II comes with faster 3G speeds based on tri-band HSDPA cellular data acces, plus a larger 2.4" display screen.
It now incorporates a front jog wheel for easier scrolling in addition to the QWERTY keyboard with new layout and a 2.0 megapixel camera. But the real plus is the built-in GPS support.
BlackJack II supports all the messaging, productivity, and multimedia features of the original BlackJack, plus introduces support for Video Share Calling. Features includes SMS, MMS, and Microsoft Office mobile applications.
The handset provides users with access to multiple e-mail accounts, both personal and business, through Microsoft Direct Push technology with Outlook Mobile and support for POP3/IMAP providers. The BlackJack II also offers over-the-air synchronization of contacts, calendar and task lists with Microsoft Exchange Server or AT&T Xpress Mail.
Users will also be able to listen to their music with support for stereo Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.
The BlackJack II is available in 2 colors - black and wine red.
