Company brings ReadyBoost like software for Windows XP
MDO Ltd. has released eBoostr, saying it is a complete replacement for Microsoft ReadyBoost technology for Windows XP. The software is now available for preview and brings ReadyBoost-like technology to Microsoft Windows XP PCs.

eBoostr improves the performance of a PC without having to upgrade its components or the operating system. Using flash memory allows Windows XP to access hard drives less frequently, which results in improved performance and responsiveness of Windows XP and all applications.

In addition to the functionality, eBoostr also allows the use of up to four flash devices to speed up a system.

The software also supports slower, less expensive flash memory and cards, allowing for an inexpensive way to improve a computer's performance.

eBoostr also promise noticeable performance benefits even to PCs that have additional RAM and power savings on laptops, due to reduced disk activity.
