TipicME is Tipic's thin client for Mobile Phones. TipicME is available in two versions: - J2ME: Java(TM) 2 Micro Edition - pJava: Personal Java TipicME runs on most Mobile Phones Operating System including Symbian, PocketPC and PalmOS. TipicME is compliant with the Open XMPP Protocol, connecting to XMPP servers through a wireless proxy (connection enhancer) to reduce the use of wireless bandwidth and minimize memory occupation on the phone (60Kb or less depending on features).
TipicME can connect to localization tools on the mobile handset and remotely on servers, allowing for the creation of localization services. Transports TipicME is a multi-protocol client that supports Jabber, AIM, ICQ, IRC, Yahoo and MSN Messenger protocols enabling unified communication both inside and outside the company. These protocols are configurable and can be removed from the client.
