Raxco PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware: defragmentation meets virtual machines

Raxco Software has joined VMware�s Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program and as a formal member of the program the company will provide IT organizations with a solution that automatically optimizes the VMware Workstation and Server environments.

Through a single installation on the host machine, PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware provides disk defragmentation of all the host�s drives and the virtual machines� drives, automatically reindexes VMware data structures, and shrinks the virtual drives to reclaim disk space.

Other PerfectDisk�s capabilities for the VMware environment include a completely automated optimization solution for VMware virtual drives in accordance with VMware recommendations with full defragmentation and free space consolidation of VMware virtual drives.
