APT introduces CDMA EVDO Rev A industrial router for Telecom
Advanced Portable Technologies (1994) Ltd has announced the availability of the first EVDO Rev A industrial router for the Telecom New Zealand CDMA network.

The Ctek Inc SkyRouter 4200E is an industrial, 4 port Ethernet router housed in an extruded aluminium enclosure. The SkyRouter 4200E includes support for DDNS, LCP Echo, VPN pass through and the Ctek Inc TCO Plus feature set which is designed to reduce the cost of running and maintaining remote, wireless solutions.

Access to the SkyRouter 4200E is available remotely or over a LAN via http, telnet and ftp with all functions and features accessible through a simple web interface.

The use of DDNS allows the SkyRouter 4200E to operate seamlessly over public IP networks that utilise dynamic addressing.

Additionally the Ctek Inc SkyRouter 4200E features digital input and output relay driver control functions. The input can provide triggered alerts via email or SMS and the output can be turned off or on through simple SMS commands.

The SkyRouter 4200E operates on the Telecom Mobile Broadband network, and supports CDMA 1xRTT, EVDO Rel0 and EVDO RevA connections.
