O2 to launch MS Smartphone

The mobile operator, which already sells a Pocket PC Phone Edition called XDA (the QTEK branded) is now ready to launch a MS Smartphone in the market. And you can be in to win a free phone by answering a survey in their pages!

There are more information on their website, but not a picture of the specific model to be sold. The price range should be around US$500.

Also, it might be available in the Asia-Pacific region, these are the only countries listed in the survey page (and also because the myxda.com pages are based in Singapore).

As this is breaking news, we don't have information if O2 will require certifcation from developers, signing, etc...
