In true mobile style I'm posting this note from my Pocket PC. I'll report later on some of the products and services I'm seeing here.
Even had the opportunity to play with the newly released Palm Tungsten C and Zire 71, just a day after their official release.
Update: The whole day was filled with seminars and presentations from developers, mobile carriers (Telecom and Vodafone), and manufacturers. Of course the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa was crowded, and as a bonus the seminars were in a couple of rooms next to the 100 Years of Harley Davidson exhibition .
Topics I attended (by time, not personal preference): Wireless device evolution (Toshiba NZ), Wireless inovation in business (Vodafone NZ), M2M (Nokia Finland), Wireless solutions deployment strategies (Econz), and NZ innovation leading the way with mobile data (Telecom New Zealand).
I had the chance to talk to some people, market channel managers, etc, and time to play with the new Palm T|C and Palm Zire 71. Also got some good leads to arrange material for review here at Geekzone!
