Sprint becomes first carrier in US to offer CDMA mobile with Bluetooth
Hopefully it will be not long before we see other CDMA carriers offering the same mobile model.

“The T608 is one of the most powerful wireless connectivity solutions available in the CDMA marketplace today,” said Urban Gillstrom, President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications USA. “By offering integrated Bluetooth technology in the T608, we demonstrate our company’s commitment to deliver imaging/messaging, entertainment and connectivity in our mobile phones.”

Users of cell phones based on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) networks have had Bluetooth available for more than a year through different manufacturers, but the T608 is the first CDMA phone with Bluetooth. It will be available in the 2Q2003.
