In early October, ProjectX became New Zealand's first Google Maps Enterprise reseller. ProjectX Technology is an international map solutions company based in Wellington.
Richard Suhr, Head of Google Enterprise for APAC, says "Google is delighted to be working with one of the innovators in the NZ mapping market. We are excited about working with ProjectX to help introduce our Enterprise offerings to a wider commercial audience"
ProjectX provides services to assist companies who wish to use the Google Maps API Premiere or Google Maps API Enterprise products. These products are aimed at commercial customers who are looking beyond the free Google maps service.
"ProjectX is thrilled to become a Google reseller. This gives our clients the opportunity to use the best map technology in the world. This also enables us to help our clients keep innovating at the highest level," said John Clegg, CEO of ProjectX.
ProjectX began in 2005 with a vision to develop quality user-centric map solutions. They built the award-winning website ZoomIn, and Trade Me's map website - Smaps.
As the nation's leading innovator in the online maps space, ProjectX was the first in New Zealand to release online maps displaying for all of the country. They were also the first company in the world to provide 'predictive address' searching.
