Sharp submitted and received approval for the successor of its model GX10 (used by Vodafone live!).

The main difference is this being a tri-band model (the GX10 is 900/1800MHz only), GPRS class 10, and the external LCD supports up to 65,000 colours (the GX10 is a two lines BW LCD).

This new model also support video capture in addition to snapshots only, VGA resolution and flash.
