Air New Zealand has partnered with Translations.com for the launch of three European websites. Serving nearly one million passengers a month, Air New Zealand turned to Translations.com services for help with the launch of www.airnewzealand.fr, www.airnewzealand.es, and www.airnewzealand.it.
In addition to engaging Translations.com to perform translation of the website into three languages (French, Italian and Spanish), Air New Zealand will manage the sites with Translations.com’s proprietary OneLink technology.
A fully hosted solution, OneLink allows clients to rapidly deploy multilingual web content with absolutely zero investment of their internal IT resources; OneLink customers can literally address global markets by simply adding one link to their website.
According to Scott Carr, General Manager of Air New Zealand Europe, “As Air New Zealand continues to expand its online presence globally, we want to ensure we are providing our multinational clientele with a dynamic website in their local language. As a fully hosted solution that requires no additional IT investment, OneLink allows us to deploy high quality multilingual web content in a seamless and cost-effective manner.”
Translations.com President and CEO Phil Shawe adds, “OneLink is part of our GlobalLink suite of technology products. These products help clients manage their translation process faster, with higher quality, and more cost-effectively by automating many of the labor-intensive steps associated with translation. OneLink was specifically designed to help companies like Air New Zealand efficiently communicate with their customers worldwide. We look forward to a successful ongoing relationship with Air New Zealand.”
