Vodafone wants to leverage its exclusive SKY mobile TV relationship to be the first fixed line provider in NZ to offer customers full SKY TV services on their Vodafone home phone and internet account.
This week, Vodafone will bundle all SKY’s digital channels including MY SKY HDi with fixed line voice and internet services, providing a compelling bundled service for their customers.
Vodafone's Head of Media & Entertainment, Charlie Clementson, says that offering all of SKY’s digital channels on Vodafone home phone accounts is another step in their total telecommunications strategy and allows them to offer all customers their favourite content services any way they want them.
"This is a great step for our fixed line business; our ongoing partnership with SKY is giving our customers more access to content services in more places. This is about letting our customers have the choice about their Pay TV from SKY, whether it is on their Vodafone 3G mobile phone as we currently offer, or now Direct To Home via SKY’s satellite service.”

Current and prospective Vodafone customers can visit the Vodafone website to open up a new SKY account, or to bring an existing SKY account to Vodafone.
