Apparently the latest Palm Tungsten C is showing a fault, where its MAC (Media Access Control) address is set to a non-unique number. MAC addresses are supposed to be unique in the world, but it's not happening with Palm T|C.
There are some discussions going around boards on the Internet about this problem, and users report problems because some router will filter packets based on this address being correct configured.
Users reported that Palm T|C MAC Addresses are being reset to 00:E0:18:00:00:00 and Palm Support has not identified this as a problem, yet.
Discussions are running on Brighthand, and PalmInfocenter.
