Air New Zealand and Gen-i have signed a new agreement that extends their existing partnership for the management of telecommunications network services.

Under the new agreement, Gen-i will provide data and voice network services worldwide. Gen-i has a strong team, providing 24x7x365 day support and project services across Air New Zealand’s 85 global and 69 domestic locations. This includes the management of services delivered by a wide range of telecommunications and technology providers worldwide.

Gen-i aims to deliver a number of business benefits as a result of the deal, including cost savings, improved technology and service performance, and a telecommunications platform to meet future business requirements.

Chris Quin, CEO of Gen-i, said the new contract is an endorsement of Air New Zealand’s confidence in Gen-i’s people and ICT capability.

The agreement with Air New Zealand is the latest in a series of significant wins for Gen-i that take advantage of its ability to create innovative ICT solutions that deliver real business outcomes for its clients.
