New LG handsets coming to Vodafone before Christmas
LG Mobile is set to launch a new range of QWERTY handsets, perfect for heavy text and internet users, with two models available on the Vodafone mobile network.

Both the GW300 and GW525 (pictured) feature large colour screens. The GW300’s layout comes in pink or blue options, while the GW525 hides its QWERTY keyboard behind a slide screen featuring touch technology.

LG Mobile New Zealand Business Manager, Adam Gordon is excited to be launching these innovative handsets into a market where texing and social networking is now an integral part of everyday life.

“With more than six billion text messages sent per annum, New Zealanders are one of the highest users of text messaging per capita in the world. LG’s new range of QWERTY handsets offer features perfect for texting, browsing the web and social networking through sites like Facebook and Twitter, at very competitive prices. The launch of these handsets is just another example of LG Mobile’s innovation offering products perfect for Kiwi mobile users,” said Gordon.

Priced at NZ$399.00 the GW300 features a 2.4” display with full QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera, MP3 and radio functionality, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

The GW525, priced at NZ$799.00, features a 2.8” full touch screen display with a slider QWERTY keyboard, 3MP camera, document viewer, enhanced messaging and social networking features and push e-mail.

The handsets will be available from Vodafone dealers from October, just in time for Christmas.
