HP launches Windows 7 with a notebook signed by Richie McCaw going on a Trade Me auction
To celebrate the launch of HP’s new range of Windows 7 notebooks and desktops that will be released 22nd October, HP will be auctioning an exclusive HP Pavilion dv7 notebook signed by a world famous number 7, Richie McCaw.

Richie received one of the first units to be made available in NZ – and in fact, the world – signed the notebook and HP will be auctioning it off on TradeMe with all proceeds from the auction going to the Lifeline charity.

With a 17" LCD, Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 640GB dual hard drive and 4GB RAM the notebook sells in store for NZ$2,999 but with Richie’s signature and the fact bidders will be making a donation to a great cause, the company is hoping that it will make a lot more than this for Lifeline.

The HP Pavilion dv7 notebook combines luxury and style with high performance to give users a premium entertainment experience.

The auction will go live at 12.01am on Thursday, 22nd October and will close at 8.00pm on Wednesday, 28th October.
