Honda advises of email scam going around New Zealand

Honda New Zealand has issued a press release telling its customers and the public of an email phishing scam.

The hoax emails have the subject line ‘2010 HONDA RESULT’ and notify recipients of a large cash prize.

These email messages may vary in their presentation and content, and may prompt recipients to follow a link to a Honda associated site or to contact a Honda ‘agent’ for further information.

Honda New Zealand strongly advises recipients to ignore these emails and to delete them from their computers immediately.
