Tickets for Microsoft TechEd 2011 will go on sale from 2 May, and the company says if it is anything like previous years, they will sell out pretty fast.
Microsoft TechEd is the premier technology event of the year for IT professionals and developers. Highlights of the event will include world class technical content, rock star IT speakers, hands-on labs, exclusive product offers and TechFest.
Microsoft New Zealand TechEd 2011 will be held Wednesday 24 August – Friday 26 August, 2011 at the SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland City.
Microsoft has kept the delegate ticket price the same as last year, and has a limited number of Earlybird tickets available and significant discounts for bulk purchases. Tickets will go on sale from 2 May, 2011.
The company also issued a Call for Topics. Speakers that have in-depth knowledge on a Microsoft product or technology that’s likely to be of interest to TechEd delegates, and are a compelling presenter, can suggest a topic to present. If the session is accepted, the speaker will also receive a Speakers Pass to TechEd.
The Call For Topics portal is open now for submissions.
TechEd also offers opportunities to showcase businesses and their products and services to an audience of 2,000+ IT professionals.
This year the company is also promoting TechEd via social network tools such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
