PDACorps posted a review of this new game: "Since the day that AIM Productions released a beta version of their trials bike game, Trial Challenge has been one of the most anticipated games for the PocketPC so far this year for me. The game can be regarded as having descended from games such as Kikstart back in the days of 8-bit gaming, Excite Bike, and more recently and more similarly, a browser based game written in java for the desktop PC. Already you can tell that Trials Challenge isn't wholly original, but it certainly isn't one of a long list of clones, it doesn't seek to emulate any of the aforementioned titles, and it's unprecedented on the PocketPC.
All of these games, including Trials Challenge, share one thing in common. They all attempt to recreate the thrills and spills of trials biking and are viewed from a side on, two-dimensional perspective. The screenshots for Trial Challenge certainly look promising, but I couldn't help but wonder whether the game would perform as well as it looked, particularly on one of the slower (but more common) PocketPC's such as the iPaq 3870, on which this review is based."
