Hi all,

I know some of you are thinking of purchasing a Glo remote as a replacement (enhancement?) to the standard boxed remote.

It appears that to purchase a one-off is expensive due to Amazon's shipping charges but I would like to suggest a group buy.

For example, if five of us purchase the cost drops from $110 NZD to $75 NZD Surprised

If you are interested, then leave a post here. Financial details to be worked out in due course depending on demand.

I'll see how many people reply in a few days and then make a call on if/when to order.

Cheers
Peter.

Keep in mind that if the total cost of the purchase, including postage, comes to more than $450NZ you will have to do a customs clearance for payment of GST. The clearance is about $60 plus the 12.5% GST

Hi - yes I am aware of Amazon's import fees deposit scheme. If I get 5 remotes then this is under their set amount for this. Cheers.

Do Amazon ship electronics outside the US? It didn't used to be that way. Sorry OT.

Only selected (or small, low value) items can be sent. They only ship via courier in most cases too.

Hi all - have decided not to proceed with this idea due to lack of interest.

Can always arrange another time if demand increases.

Cheers
