Hi all...

I've been searching eveywhere I can to connect my UX50 to my V3 via bluetooth but I can't seem to get it working. Hopefully you'll be able to help me out. I tried using the guide, but it didn't work, so I'm going to share my current config and maybe somebody can point out any mistakes I have.

I have two connections, as somebody said they had to setup two connects to get it to work; one connection for web access and another for MMS/SMS.

Connection 1:
Name: RAZR V3 (Web)
Connect to: Local Network
Via: Bluetooth
Device: Motorola V3 (paired)

Connection 2:
Name: RAZR V3 Phone (for MMS/SMS)
Connect to: Phone
Via: Bluetooth
Device: Motorola V3 (paired)
Model: Generic GSM Ph.
Init String: E1&C1&DOX1S7=99+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";V1 (I've also tried changing GSM to WAP.CINGULAR)

Network 1:
Service: Cingular GPRS
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Connection: RAZR V3
Details:
Connection Type: PPP
Idle Timeout: Never
Query DNS: checked
IP Address: Automatic
Script:
Send: atz
Send CR:
Send: at+cgdcont=1,IP,WAP.CINGULAR (also tried atz+cgdcont=1,IP,WAP.CINGULAR and tried cat's config http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=12&TopicId=3848 )
Send CR:
Send: ATDT*99***1#
Send CR:
End:

Network 2:
Service: Cingular GPRS MMS
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Connection: RAZR V3 Phone
Phone: *99***1# (I have no idea what to put here)
Details:
Connection Type: PPP
Idle Timeout: Never
Query DNS: checked
IP Address: Automatic
Script:
None currently

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You don't need multiple connections. Follow this guide and make sure to use the Init String as shown.

Also, when using WAP.CINGULAR in the Init String make sure it it surrounded by " " like this: at+cgdcont=1,IP,"WAP.CINGULAR".

Thanks. I've tried that guide and putting "" around WAP.CINGULAR, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to go through the guide again. I'll post my findings, thanks.
