So who else out there with a Nokia got very annoyed at their phones automatically changing time this morning? Had I not checked my watch I would have ended up spending an extra hour at the pub! :-)

Why are Nokia incapable of updating DST changes in updated firmware released or creating patches for phones? Surely any firmware updates for phones should include such things as DST changes? If Nokia aren't interested in updating their firmware for DST changes then why can't they create an option in the firmware to disable automatic DST changes?

I'm going to send an email to Nokia tomorrow asking what they're going to do about it. I know my E65 firmware hasn't had the DST fixed - are newer Nokia handsets or firmware upgrades for other phones such as N95's correctly identifying that today wasn't the end of DST?

My 6121 classic has remained at the right time with the little sun icon in the clock page (which i think indicates DST) and time zone still showing Auckland GMT+13

Pity there isn't any UMTS900 on around here :-)

E90 sold today so I can't check that for you sorry sbiddle

Extra hour at the pub and a decent excuse! What's the problem?

My N73 also failed and changed the time; but I'm not running the very latest firmware on it.

N95 is fine here, its on +13

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

So Nokia are definately including DST changes in some firmware but not others.

i'm on the original vodafone firmware i got with my n95 about 9 months ago and my clock went back an hour. it was very annoying and i missed a metting because of it. i'm guessing this is fixed only in the later firmware versions?

I just updated my N73 last week to the latest firmware and it still changed the time back on Sunday night.

I have the most current firmware (I think) on my E65 but it still changed back to +12. Argh!

i'd have to say this seems pretty poor considering nokia's usual high standard. plenty of other software companies have overcome this problem and it appears nokia did not do as well. that said i'm still not trading in my n95 for any other brand.

My 6121 classic just nicely rolled over from 0259 to 0200, yay!

(I'm at work, hence the observation of my phone and the GZ posts at such unnatural hours :-) )

My N95 switched over correctly overnight:) I think if you managed to upgrade your firmware this year (if available) then your Nokia should have the latest DST changes. If not, the next firmware should do the trick.

im feeling the pain..

n70 and n73 here at work - have applied the Nokia Time Zone upgrader to the n73 and its still an hour fast, although now the appointments are correct

the N70 i cannot even find a time zone upgrader for - the nokia website is about as good as a cup of cold sick.

The Nokia Upgrader says i am all up to date on the n70 but its still fubared - clock is an hour fast
