This brings back a memory I have of attending a telecom pk session in Napier. They were going around the country promoting this new mobile broadband that they had going. The guy plugged in his pcmcia card and showed us all how to set it up on the projector.

He said something along the lines of "now look at the speed of this" and opened google up as his homepage, then typed in http:// www .telecom.co.nz into his browser which took about 10 seconds to load. Everyone started laughing and he went very red.
That was when the telecom site was always slow for everyone. ~2 designs ago
