Anyone else experienced their prepay balance dropping to zero shortly after they have topped up?
On two of my phones - topped up before due date (new total over $50) - got text message a few days later saying "time to top up" - ignored it because already topped up. Then next time I check there is $0.00 balance!
The four successive cs people I've talked with all agree that there's something odd there. Nobody at Vodafone seems to care very much. I think it's about to happen on the third phone - it just got a message saying "time to top up" so I guess it goes to zero in a day or so.
New policy at Vodafone?? Not just "top up OR lose your balance" - but now "Top up AND lose your balance!"

When did you topup?

I'm (wildly) guessing that it's related to Vodafone changing their policy on when long Supa Prepay topups expire... check the Supa Prepay page.

I have twice had my phone drop to a $0.01 balance - after calling and hassling them, on both times I was charged for a call that was never answered - on both occasions there was only a few $ on the phone so I just wrote it off rather then go thru the frustration that is dealing with vodafone prepay CSR's. One time was when I was calling home to find the cordless phone, so I _know_ that it was hung up - the other I couldnt be certain that I hung up before putting the phone down, but I assumed that if it was answered then the person I called would have known about it by a message on their cellphone being left.

Really makes me hesitant to put a lot of money on the sims.

It’s become clear enough that the phones are expiring on their old anniversary date.  The topups were acknowledged by the autovoice lady when I entered the numbers – and the autovoice lady calculated the new balance correctly.  But within the Vf dysfunctional family the autovoice lady is currently not talking to the computer.  So the Vf computer goes ahead with old expiry date.  
How can I get the autovoice lady to communicate the topups to the Vf computer?    
The Vf computer is talking to her all right – she can now tell me balance is now zero and ignores me when I say “what about the total you calculated last week?”   Strangely though she does tell me that my credit expires in November next year!
It’s impossible to reason with a computer.  But I’ll keep trying since it has robbed me of $200 and it will grab another $60 on Tuesday unless someone stops it.

Two phones restored credit. 
Third one still has to wait for Technical Branch investigation! 
Vf computer glitch on 08/11/07 did the dirty deed. 
If you topped up around the 8th then check your balance - especially on that spare or emergency phone that may not have been switched on recently.

Is there a Phones Ombudsman?
I faxed details to Vodafone. I've called Vodafone Customer Service several times to recover my lost credit on the last phone.  They all agree to phone me back but they don't.   Where can I go next?  All I want is my $90 credit put back.
