Hi, thought I'd bring my thread across from LAN configuration to here after I saw some very similar posts.

Like alot of people I am having trouble adding a wireless router for a friend, in this case to a TelstraClear cable connection in Chch. The router is a Belkin F5D7230AU4 and initially wouldnt work with the Telstra supplied IP settings etc. In the end I found I had to 'clone' the MAC address from the network adaptor in to the router and for 6 hours they had internet access across the wired and wireless network.

Then the internet died even though there were no config changes anywhere. Running direct from the comp to the cable modem showed that there was no problems with the internet as it was running 100%.

My next plan is to do a complete reset of the router and set it up anew and see what happens again. Maybe try and download a firmware update for it and see if that helps too. Has anyone got any other suggestions?
