wreck90: The technician fixed our fridge. . .

The problem is a faulty temperature sensor inside the freezer.

Will see if F&P change their minds.



Just thinking about it, I think this was the same fault that we had on our F&P which is also one of the water filter models.

If I remember correctly, the technician at the time said it was a fairly common fault.

Lodged the disputes tribunal claim .

The retailer has contacted me now, and decided to pay repair costs rather than go through the tribunal... so, this is resolved.

Good outcome I guess, but , a lot of hassle and bad will generated to assert my legal rights.

Did they refund any costs associated with lodging the claim with the disputes tribunal?
