hi all

i want to use a gmail standalone app on my okta boss

apparently I need java installed to do it

tried but I get a midlet error that gmail isn't secure

would another java app solve this issue

(and no I don't want to do it thru a browser)

I have the superior ;) Okta touch but I think it should be the same on the Boss..

Do you have Pocket Outlook? If so you should just be able to setup your gmail as a mailbox... like I say works on touch and hopefully on your Boss

that would work but ideally I'd be able to use the gmail interface - that way my contacts would all be the same

otherwise I need to manually move gmail contacts to outlook in order for them to be synced to my phone

make sense?

I am yet to find a nice standalone gmail app for windows mobile. That java app sucks (and also the fact that its Java - I didnt go for it Yell )

at microsoft.agl.common.misc.handlear()
at

and some other stuff

or in other ords it didn't work!

installed from the cab and that worked ok but it still errored out with the not supported exception thingy
