I have a Draytek 2800VG,

I am unable to upload files via a web page e.g. uploading images to trademe or any file type on any website it seems.

The connection/session with the browser either times out or resets. This happens with IE, Firefox, Opera.

If I dialup on the same PC, it all works fine - same result on two XP SP2 machines, firewall enabled/disabled makes no difference.

Wireless or wired connection to the router makes no difference.

What it looks like is the router is for some reason blocking this, the problem has excisted over 2 firmware revisions and a factory default/reset of the router with no advanced filtering options enabled.

I have googled around a few times trying to find info, but have not turned up much. Speaking of Google, I *am* able to attach files to gmail!

Wonder what other peoples thoughts are on this?

I had the same problem, fixed as follows :

Under Firewall>>General Setup I have un-ticked these 2 options :
"Drop non-http connection on TCP port 80" and
"Accept large incoming fragmented UDP or ICMP packets (for some games, ex. CS)"

The other options re Packet Inspection & IP Filter remain ticked, as are call & data filter options.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I unchecked "Drop non-http connection on TCP port 80" and this by it self seems to have fixed the problem!!

Thanks for the suggestion :)
