Hi,

I have got two Es-388 Bluetooth dongles and Widdcom drivers that came along with them.

I have installed the dongles on two different computers. one with Windows 2000 and one with Windows XP.

(tested with a mobile phone on XP, it was detecting)

but when i try to discover the devices, the computers with BT dongles doenst discover each other.

I hope iam clear.

Two computesr A and B  with BT installed.

but when i try to detect B from A and vice versa, both of them doesnt get detected.

Any solutions???

Thanks for the help.

Make sure both the devices are set to discoverable.

Make sure you run the discovery process from one computer only - more than one discovery process can cause problems.

Hi,

I have checked running discover individually from each of the computers. No result :(

instead of auto discovery, i tried to manually discover the Bt's but while checkinf for the device address, I have noticed one thign, that the device addrss for both the devices shows as 00:00:00:00:00:00

is there some problem with that?

how can i find the actualy device address for the Bluetooth device?

Thanks.
