Huh?

So are the digital channes muxed? And if so in what groups?

Anyone care to hazard a "guess" as to how many channels theoretically I could record with an HVR-2200 then?  It has twin digital tuners on board.

(Needless to say when playing with more than 2 streams multiple disks would also be a sensible idea)

A while ago I recorded 8 channels at once and that was with a couple of DVB-S cards and my old athlon xp2500, I might have been able to do more but I got board!

Can this be done in GBPVR? would I have to add multiple instances of the same tuner, because at ptresent with three tuners, if I am recording three channels I have no tuners left for live TV or recording?

Ni can't be done in GBPVR :-(. MediaPortal TVServer is the only software that I know of that can do it. This is the biggest reason I wouldn't even look at another PVR app. It's just too good of a feature to go without. I'm sure though that it could and probably eventually will be added to GBPVR.

The only problem with this whole Mux'ing issue is that....

there just is not enough stuff on TV worth recording at the momentTongue out

It would be great if we started to get some of the other Freeview channels on the DVB-T service - or at least gave Sport Extra a kick and used it.

True that! It's depressing on the MediaPortal forums when you see posts from people in Europe like: "Something's not working, I did channel scan and it only picked up 700 channels! What gives? normally I get 900+"

Any news on HVR 2200 supporting Analog streams in mediaportal yet?

Any one got radio working with HVR 2200 and Mediaportal? <- I can't get it to receive anything (and yes i have FM antenna plugged in)

Also, in the channel guide what does the % mean on the left hand side of each channel, is this signal strength?

I don't know about your other questions but the % in Mediaportal is the percentage of the show that has passed. It's a nice indicator of the show progress.
