Has anyone had any luck in getting the Netflix app on a Sony Bravia. I've tried various methods but can't see any Netflix app available to me - the articles I can find reference Sony Essentials, not the new Sony Entertainment network.

ON Slingshot so Netflix works fine on other devices.

TV is KDLw50700B

From memory, i think you need to chose US as the region when initially setting up the TV for the netflix app to be available.
I did it quite a while ago so can't remember any details sorry.

i setup netflix on a couple brand new sonys about 2 months ago

can vagely remember what i did,

setup a static ip and unotelly dns on the tv itself

next was to make sure i had to enabled a sony setting in unotelly dynamo

then it had some kind of sony registration website, had to register the tv with it with a code you get from the tv, on this site it lists all the apps that are valid for your tv, netflix was one of them, i believe it was https://internet.sony.tv/customer/

then i went into "refresh internet content" or similar, in the settings on the tv itself, then netflix was enabled on the tv
