Hi, a mate has asked me if the PPV Westling is recordable, his teenage son is mad on wrestling and does very well in the local wrestling club. However on this coming Monday afternoon there is a PPV event on that he wants to record while at school, but his dads not keen on shelling out $20odd if all he gets is mush, anyone know if macrovision is envoked on these PPV events.

Edit, found the answer and yes you can record.

Cheers
Cyril

I think it's only the myskys that have macrovision. PPV's can be recorded by the mysky, but it will auto delete in about 24 hours. The macrovision (only used with PPV's at present)  will stop it from allowing a recording to any external device.

All the non-mysky decoders can record anything to external device.
