I basically dropped most of the things I wasn't using last month, monthly fee went from $130 to $110.

Get this month's bill and its back to $122.

:(

10% is a pretty hefty increase, anyone else notice this?

I have not received my bill yet, but last month I've paid exactly the same as what is advertised on their web site today. I've got only Basic without the magazine though.

What did the bill say in regards to any price increases? There was a small price increase several months ago but otherwise there should not have been an increase on that scale. Perhaps the bill covers a period longer than 30 days? Or it covers part months for some services that were changed. If you chopped and changed your services this well may be the case. Have you looked at the itemised bill and the dates attached to it?

They've increased the price on several packages as well as the Skywatch magazine as of 1st June. This is in addition to that small price increase a couple of months back.

Near as I can tell, the only place they mentioned it is the Sky TV website, and even then only if you logged in and went to the "Upgrade Subscription" page.

I haven't changed anything since I removed the packages I wasn't using.

There's nothing on my bill about an increase.

Just...11 bucks more please!

False alarm!

There was a small increase on June 1 but apparently I got refunded the remaining time of the packages I cancelled last month, so I was in credit :)

Have a hard time telling that from the website though, it doesn't display an itemized bill or a history of older bills.

It displays a history, but only if your account is in debit. It insists I haven't paid them since 2009!

I got a letter from Sky dated 14 May 2010 stating that my subscription goes up from 1 June by 46 cents per week (duh! - I pay monthly you dorks).  No doubt that is exclusive of GST - they don't say so though.  I subscribe to the basic package plus movies, sport and HD.
