I have been watching the top 100 Movie songs on MTV classic, which was 465 minutes long and was surprised by the problems MySky HDi had with it.

When ever I fast forwarded or rewound it hung for upto 20 seconds before it responded to the button pushes and bufferd the other pushes causes some strange responses.

Has anyone else had this issue as I have not come across it before.

MTV Classic

Picture quality - poor

Sound quality - poor

Quality of videos - most are origional - not updated since they got them in the 80's

Will I keep watching - yup, love it

Hi

I also find MTV classic has poor quality signal compared to other channels. I dont have MySky just SD sky. Maybe its because of the channels low bitrate that your having problems rewinding? Just a thought.
Its also great having MTV back to being Music Television and not the crap that is aired on normal MTV (ch14).

Can't say I've tried recording anything on MTV Classic yet, but I have also noticed the picture quality is quite poor. I'll give recording a try this weekend and let you know how it goes.

But I must say, I like seeing some of the old clips that the other music video channels don't show (yes, it's my age - I admit it).

Ahh, Classic. Putting the M back into MTV.
