Screen to an apple tv is basically a screencapture, encode and push over the network for then decoding at the other end. Thats why it never looks as nice as a direct connection, has issues with dropped and duplicated frames and synchronization.

It works fine when you are just showing someone a word document etc but for anything that needs smooth motion because all the frames are arriving at the right time, its bad. Not as hopeless as miracast or chrome casting to a chromecast but its still bad.

Don't know what to start next and it's really playing on my mind.  I'm tossing up between season two of Vikings and Black Sails.  I only binge watch one show at a time, you see, so it's not a decision I take likely.  *sigh* no matter what I do in life, I still can't seem to escape pressure.

Has anyone else using the PS4 app come upon any problems?
The app was working perfectly up until about 3 weeks ago when it just stopped. We can start the app, browse the shows on offer, however when we select one to watch, it doesn't load at all. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but this didn't solve the problem. Am not keen on resetting my PS4. Any suggestions? Oh it works fine on the macbook and windows pcs we have at home.

Try deleting the device off your account and signing in again. We're still chasing down what's causing this and similar behaviour from time to time.

Friday Night Lights is pretty good. We really enjoyed binge watching that one.

Did you delete it off your Lightbox account on the website?


Hmmm not sure. It was my wife that did it. Might have to try again and see if she did it that way :-). Fingers crossed!!

I have 3 accounts with Spark, the other two are two daughters, they have BB/mobile on them, but the accounts are on my name and my customer number, are these eligible for one LB each?

And if daughters register, can they add a voucher code later? Some Better Call Saul desperation going on

Yeah, currently we can't put a show up without publishing at least one video into it - pretty silly, I know and something that needs to change going forward.

Hi,

Not an expert here (eligibility is controlled by Spark, we just provide the service), but I believe it's one voucher per customer number. You can apply that voucher to any one account you set up, though (names don't have to match between your Spark and Lightbox account).
