You should question why the upload speed doesnt show up in speedtest.

Yeah I know I have been questioning it for a while. It happened since I got my internet moved to cabinet. I may post on here later today.

TBH, I had just spent several weeks on 3 topics trying to get my speed sorted, when i finally did, the upload issue wasnt a major. ;)

Phexx:What sort of bandwidth would you think iSky uses, cant be more than 5mbit?

Streaming iSky uses about 1,500,000 mbps on average, with bursts of 6,400,000 mbps spaced 10 seconds apart, according to a test I just ran. So you are a bit under with your estimate of 5 mbps.

Cheers,

David.

hairy1: I bet you it falls over again tonight when the rugby starts. It has the last two Saturdays... It doesn't seem to handle the high loads.

I don't get the point of iSky if it crashes during the most popular times.

ie, it only works ok when noone wants to watch.

Thanks for that, did my own tests and got closer to 1 mil but that was on wi-fi so could be a bit off....
