thanks every one for your hand
So I couldn't change the LNB and make it work, not sure why (also if you are reading this to do it your self the notes say to hit 4 tiwce but you only do it once) how ever I managed to change the cabling to run all off the one dish did a new install and it work just like new.
you guys rock. couldn't of done t with out you

Maybe the LNB for the Granny flat dish had an odd frequency. Did you check what frequency the working Freeview box was set to?  (Not that it matters now...)
