Lightbox:

Is your firmware up to date on the console? Anything at all you can think off?

I can't think of anything that would cause this as I don't have issues with any other app. Could it be something at your end?

ISP: Vodafone (I'm on ex-TCL network ADSL)
DNS: 203.109.191.1 (Primary)

PS4 software version: 2.03 (up to date)
Lightbox version: 1.00

Try Google DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 see if that changes anything?

Does anyone know if TCL/Voda use any Transparent Proxies or anything that could effect it?

Best Christmas present ever - thanks Lightbox.

Edit: looks great, works smoothly,  The PS4 with it's massive 8gbs of ram makes mince meat of HD streaming video.  I'm on Spark VDSL.

KiwiNZ: Just thought of what I want for Christmas

A better gaming console? :) By better I OBVIOUSLY mean Sony made :)

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Hi - will there also be a Sony Smart TV app as part of the deal with Sony?

Really weird. Not something we've heard about otherwise.

I assume you tried to delete and reinstall the app? A reset to factory default might be another thing to try (I realise that's a pain). We've thrown it at the developer and requested some feedback on it.

Nothing to announce now around Sony SmartTV. However, we'll add more platforms in the new year and we're only getting started here.

I suspect we'll have some good news for Playstation 3 owners today, though.

Not overly helpful for solaybro, but it was pretty much seamless for us last night. Picture quality was excellent, and more importantly I didn't have to monopolize my wife's iPad while we watched. :-)

We did have an initial app crash (due to overzealously trying to hide the controls, I think), but after that it was pretty much smooth sailing. Had a few pauses to buffer content, but thats not unusual for our setup, which is currently constrained to using WiFi.

I have tried reinstalling it and it did nothing. There is no way I can reset my PS4, it would take me a long time to redownload everything since I have roughly 75GB of downloadable stuff.

Anyone running this with HDCP disabled? My AVR has problems with my PS4 if HDCP is enabled.

Yeah, perfectly understandable. I also honestly doubt it would fix it.

Something is making the server unreachable to you, which is making the maintenance screen appear. Are you completely sure that nothing blocks a particular type of traffic or anything else out of the ordinary?
