I recently got a Harmony Ultimate remote, which now allows me to change my sky channels via an app on my smart phone or tablet.

That looks cool but I just want something simple to change the sky box or fast forward when watching content on mysky when in bed.

My Smart TV already used the Cat6 port for broadband and don't really want to mess with the other hub too much

kiwis: Is this what I need??

I have the older model (*http://www.rapalloav.co.nz/x-ray-remote-control-extender.html) and it was working fine when I used it (used to live in a house where the sky decoder was away from tv).

If you're in Christchurch then you can try it if you want.
