QJay:

I would not call that link "well documented" it refers to a couple of people.

Never had any playback problem on my nexus 7 with other video playback, but i cant comment on the new lightbox app as the code i got emailed for a free month says it is not valid.

got a link to blame that on as well?

I'll freely admit that we haven't tested on 2013 Nexus models - since testing across every single device in the Android universe isn't really realistic. We'll take it to the devs and see if there's anything we can do, but clearly something isn't quite right on this device and Android 5+.

I am guessing you received the code over a month ago? It's only valid for 30 days...

It's working fine on my stock HTC One M7! Of course, I'd prefer to be watching on my TV via Chromecast, but I'm guessing Lightbox are tired of hearing that o_0

I have recently purchased an Amiko A3 STB (Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean) and I just get the good ole "Your Device isn't Compatible With This Version" on the Play Store, im hoping that support for android based STBs is on the cards.

Resubscribed last night. Seems to work well on my Nexus 10. HDMI out works well enough for now to get it on to my TV (looking forward to chromecast later this month though!).

Only issue with HDMI out on the tablet is the different aspect ratio results in black bars on the sides of the TV and the soft-buttons (home, back, etc) of course show on the TV too. This is to be expected though so nothing to complain about.

I have an MK808b android TV box running 4.2 that won't play Lightbox video. The loading icon just keeps spinning. Is there a solution?

I've been using the app a little bit on my Nexus 9 tablet. Unfortunately the app doesn't seem to respect the aspect ratio of the content. The Nexus 9 has a 4:3 aspect ratio (like the iPad) but 16:9 content seems to stretch to fill the screen (minus the navigation bar, which really should auto hide).

Are there any plans to correct this behaviour?

Cheers. We'll look into it.
