tripp: The account needs to have access to view the movie. His card / account does not have movies so his card won't play them even if they are on the decoder.

Also if a hit is sent when his card is in your decoder then you may lose access to pvr and the recordings on the decoder.


So in short. Don't try and cheat the system.

I can play movies I recorded two years ago, and my card is not currently subscribed to movies, though it was at time of recording, so not sure about paragraph one.

Agree it's not worth the hassle of trying to cheat system. I just pay for one months worth and record 20 to 40 hours of movies that month, then unsubscribe and watch them over the next 6 months or so.
