1st August is when the new channel lineup goes to air.

DjShadow:

Is this replacing Fanpass or will Fanpass just be a lite version of this?

Isnt Fanpass $38 or so if you take it for 6 months? That makes it a poor price compared to the new one

BUTTTTTT   Will Sky Sports NOW have OD?   As in what has played already? Fanpass only ever had highlights, so it was up at 3am to watch or just highlights.

It has to have full replays OD otherwise its live only and thats no good

I've been on the $30/month plan with Spark which runs out in a few days, going up $10 on another 12 month plan with another 8 channels + 1 news chan seems like a good deal to me.

I'm assuming the Satellite version stays the same price

Access to replays, highlights, features and documentaries on demand

I hope thats all replays, which would replace MySky recording

I wonder what will be on SkyGo?

I need to assess how married I am to other Sky content. If I consider going SSN only, I'll need to test it on a week pass. If I can as subscribers cannot access Fanpass

Yes.

Seems to be the new sport channels same price in the bundle. Or you can opt for SSN instead of Sky satellite with Sports sub? Essentailly sport upgraded and "Fanpass" with it and renamed.

More motivation to downgrade from Sky, Basic, Sport to SSN     But also a large motivation to join back up with SSN.

I'm sold. Been considering fan pass for the past couple of weeks, looking to reduce costs basically as I only have Sky STB for sports only, so this is excellent news. Stoked. Well done Sky, the new CEO is walking the talk.

Has to be ATV4 for me, I'm not messing round with CCu or Airplay

Yep, I'm pretty keen for this, but it needs an ATV4 app for me.

Given that FanPass already has one, hopefully they will have one pretty quickly.

The press release does say it will be available on big screens, so they must have something ready to go (maybe just Chromecast), or they are just going to rename FanPass?

Assume fanpass will be rebranded?

not sure how existing accounts will be managed, assume an email will come through in the next day or so of the changes.
