Now we just need to get them to change from that aweful framerate so that things aren't sped up or have terrible judder.

You must have something wrong with your eyesite as you've been complaining about this as long as I've been here in GZ. I or anyone else I know has non of these problems.

You cant tell when a movie is on sky and everyone is talking faster than they do on the bluray release, at a higher pitch?

You cant see the once per second jump on music videos where a speedup would be unacceptable?

I have no problems with it.  one FPS speedup  is not going to be noticeable to 99% of viewers.

I'd be so much happier if they would switch Food TV. Of the channels I watch, this is the one I think would benefit the most from a resolution upgrade.

Before they upgraded FoodTV to HD I would rather they stopped the endless repetitive repeating of repeats repeatedly. However I suspect if they did that they could only fill two hours three times a week.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I agree! Food TV is a shadow of it's former self these days. They were repeating twice a day, and now they are repeating 3 times a day. It's very frustrating. There is a LOT of food-related content, I see it on other platforms. It's all run by Discovery Australia and Fellet did respond personally to a couple of my emails and said he would raise it, but it hasn't really improved, and it doesn't even seem on the new guys radar. He has a big job ahead of him, but the Discovery people were pretty average to deal with and sort of just fobbed off my concerns.

Food TV was a big part of my Sky subscription but recently I don't watch it much unless I am away on holiday or during the holiday season.

HGTV is the same with repeats, it’s annoying

Though I wouldn’t mind HGTV in HD either

Not Sky but another option.

It’s on ApplevTV also and can watch first  episode of each series without paying on the Apple one.

The one I watched was HD.

I’d guess you’d watch them faster then new content added, but it would be fresh for a little while.

HD channel upgrade to Comedy Central CH011 and MTV CH015

At midnight Thursday 7th November 2019 Comedy Central and MTV will become HD. If you are watching the channel at the time of change you need to channel up/down to rejoin the channel.

Well, here in Canada my TV provider has three different music channels with [upscaled] 4K content.  Now if that's not a waste I don't know what is!!
