Surely the backwards rebroadcasters can just do a letterbox on their recivers to send it into their backwards networks?

I can't justify sky when all I want is history and discovery and it's worse quality than Freeview.

And you pay through the nose for it AND you still get 18mins of adverts every hour.

But where there's a will theres always a way...

I'm sure sky's just taking the piss.

It's not just Discovery. Sci-Fi, sorry.. SyFy is being taken over by Wrestling and Ghost shows.

Hey! Psych is about "psychics" solving murders and I love that show ;)

Its more realistic that "ghost hunters" and "sensing money" or whatever.

No, it has NZ ads in it, I am guessing they only cut them in when its on a popular show since I have seen stuff about the discovery AU site on the channel at other times

Looks like the Foxtel Discovery has more modern content as well..looking at their programming. Sky are so cheap.

Foxtel has more than twice the number of subscribers as well, so probably around twice the revenue. You could maybe emigrate if Pay TV looks so good over there.

I believe they pay on a population basis..not a subscriber basis.
