voy1d: I believe ITV (uk) is streaming all RWC games off their websites.

If you were able to use a VPN / Smart DNS website you might be able to access those feeds...

Ah yeah I could but I don't mind paying for the convenience and decent picture quality of Fanpass, though I do wish it had a RWC package especially for on-demand replays

U sure about that? Can't say I was impressed.

I got 720p quality when I tested it out during the Bledisloe Cup. Sure it could improved with 1080p and at a higher bitrate and 5.1 sound but it's way better than the dodgy overseas streams and probably as much as my ADSL connection can handle anyway

Actually I did not find the picture quality that bad.
It was the slow frame rate that irritated me. Especially in those fast panning shots.

More is better agreed! Would be interesting to find out what framerate Fanpass uses

Question about Chromecast, not 100% certain how it works.

I have an ADSL connection which works fine with watching FanPass online. If I use my Chromecast, is that going to require more data/higher speed? Just wondering if my connection could withstand everything and thinking the Chromecast would make the stream lag/stutter.

Also in regards to my post on the previous page, They didn't really have a solution, but they kind of did. They said to use the example phone number.

Finch:
networkn: use 64 9 xxx xxxx

Assuming you are in Auckland. That is the international way to dial a number.

If it won't take that try +64 9 xxx xxxx

I am in Wgtn.

Doesn't work though.

WTF?

Just had the same issue... it's a bit dumb because the other formats are perfectly valid as phone numbers,  but you have to use the following format

64-XXXXXXXXXX

i.e. 64-491234567

If you use any of the following it will not work

64 491234576
64 4 91234576
64 4 9123 4567
64-4-91234567
64-4-9123-4567
+64-41234567

IMO the pricing needs to be $20 a month, $5 a week

But then it would be cheaper than Sky Sport.  You don't see a commercial problem that Sky might have if they priced it this way?
