Yeah Sky are claiming midnight is the start of the day, whereas I suspect a good number of the public would consider midnight as the end of the day.

Agreed, regardless it doesn't explain why the voucher code didn't work a whole day beforehand anyway.

I received an email back saying they were looking into it, but haven't heard anything further.

This is the reason I never use "midnight". Too ambiguous. Better to use 11:59 or 12:01 to avoid any doubt.

Technically midnight does not belong to either day.  It is neither the start nor the end of the day.  Midnight is Midnight.

They should refer to Midnight at the end of the 27th or Midnight at the start of the 27th to be clear.

In any case it should have been available on the 26th.

Edit:  I also think that if you are talking about and end date then it is reasonable to assume that midnight is at end.

i.e. If someone was to say that a sale starts at Midnight on the 27th it is reasonable to assume they mean the midnight of the 26th-27th seen as they are talking about a start date.
Equally if someone says that a promotion ends at Midnight on the 27th it is reasonable to assume they mean the midnight of the 27th-28th seen as they are talking about an end date

Good to see they've learned how to unambiguously specify the expiry date now ;-)

Fan Pass looks to be a good initiative by Sky but $20 per week? Everything else is $10-$15 per month, and Sky needs to be in the same space if it is to make any impact.

I dunno - I sort of get it...for a one off game/event or maybe a few....case in point, I will be looking to grab it for Bathurst race, and the price point in that respect is fine...would I pay the $20 for each race though - hell no...but for a one off, yeah sure, no dramas :)

So on that point...anyone else know of any promo codes that are valid :D - STUFFWEEK and STUFFDAY still work....

Actually everything else costs $5-15/WEEK.
Wanna watch a round of PGA one weekend?  Thats still $11 on a season subscription.  A single week - thats $80!
Wanna watch a weekend of EPL?  Thats $20 thanks very much.
Casual subscription for a single sport is expensive.  Cos the providers want you to pay for a season.

What's the data consumption rate per hour? Bathurst runs for a while...

Any new voucher codes on offer?

I doubt it, a game from PLP is around 3 GB for two hours.

Given they are the same platform, I'd estimate you're looking at 1.5 GB per hour of usage.

Just got an email from NEON.

"And just in time for the Rugby World Cup 2015 quarter finals, NEON has teamed up with FAN PASS to give you a FREE DAY PASS* (worth $14.99). Simply use the code NEONRWC15D before 11.59pm 28th October 2015 to redeem your free day pass."

good way to watch the game this Sunday if you dont have a way to. :)

edit: if you really wanted to you could make 12 emails, one for each day leading up to the 28th and watch most of the RWC apart from the Bronze Final and Grand Final.
