Put the mouse pointer to left side of screen as far as it will go, or to the left bottom corner.

Fan passing the rugby final now. Good picture most of the time, a few blocky compression artefacts at times but no pauses or major delivery glitches. 10/10 service really.

Went this way to get a better 720p picture over freeview HD prime in SD.

How did you find the delay?
For me it was nearly 10minutes behind again. Ended up watching on Prime.

10 minutes behind the live coverage? that's a pathetic farce , no reason whatsoever for them to do that! I would be asking for a refund.

I thought it was great that prime showed the game live and uninterrupted. Being Sunday they couldn't show ads after 6 am, I think, so they obviously decided not to bother. I watched it on ITV because I didn't want ads during game but turned streaming off at end of game and turned on Prime and they were broadcasting at about the same time.
My question to those that paid, with fanpass or sky  are you happy that  apart from Prime being in SD not HD it was shown live on prime? (which a lot of people wouldn't of cared about as long as it was live)
To me with Fanpass being, as stated above, 10 minutes behind, and sky subscribers paying good money for it, it seems sky are doing themselves no favours at all.
As stated above I'm please it was live on Prime so all of NZ could watch

No refund needed.
I got two weeks free using the code listed previously in this thread.

Going forward, and because we no longer have sky, I may just use this service again in the future. Hoping though that they sort out the delay. 2-5 minutes is probably understandable due to how streaming works. But 10 minutes makes me wonder if its not intentional.

I don't see an issue with a 10 minute delay. They show it for free on Prime SD live, they buffer it for 10 mins on Fanpass. If they wanted to reduce the buffer or even make it live, the stream will suffer. If they made it stream live that would perhaps get more people to pay for it, but they didn't do that. So I take it that the delay was technically needed.

Watched on Fan Pass, streamed fine in HD, wouldn't say 10min delay, more like 3-4, got the week pass for free anyway, was just nice to watch it in HD rather than SD on Prime.

Very good for one off sport events for those with no Sky subscription.

My thoughts exactly.

Gah, decided to sit down and watch the cricket after giving my $20 over.

An hour and a half into the coverage and the system falls over (though I suspect this is more a Sky not delivering proper feeds issue)

Interesting - Fanpass have added a monthly option to its offering.
Sky Sports 1-4 streaming for 31 days for $56.

So $15/day, $20/week or $56/mth.

Good to see a monthly option now. Sky needs to release the Fan Pass app for Apple TV and I would use it.

That's great news. My Dad wants to ditch his normal Sky sub, but sports has been a sticking point. I got him a Chromecast for Christmas, so casting from the Fan Pass Android app would work well for him.
